Never heard of Magadan?
Magadan is associated with far far east of Russia. It is associated with cold and people-less places, taiga, beautiful nature and interesting people. Of course this Region is famous for former Soviet GULAGs too.

If you live somewhere in the “West”, you may often hear or read something bad about Russians. What you hear and read is mostly “something like truth”.  Mostly these “news” are presented in a way, so that they cause bad opinnion about Russia. I personally don’t like it.

Therefore I found the following citation interesting, funny and truth. Vyacheslav Nikonov, a prominent Russian commentator, has quoted his Canadian friend, who came up with the following explanation of Russophobia:

The main problem is that these Russians have white skin. If they had been green, or pink, or came from Mars…or had
flowers sticking out of their ears, then everybody would have said – well, these people are
different, like Turks, or Chinese, or Japanese. We have no questions about the Japanese. They
are different, their civilisation is different. But these Russians … they are white but they have
totally different brains … which is thoroughly suspicious.

However at Day Two I had to work the whole afternoon, so my mother came and looked after Leon. At third day I was home and this was great day! Fourth day was good to we had much time. But let the pictures speak…

Usual day activity is playing outdoor

We Leon usual awakes at 6:00 pm, and I usually try to get him sleep again through my dormancy. Sometimes he sleep additional 20-30minutes. So we finally get up at 6:30 pm. First in the morning we do the routine stuff like changing of pampers (I mean i change his pampers ) and cloth, brush our tooth and so on.

After that Leon gets his Milk. Then we play something or do some house work together.

At Sunday we where long time outside, Leon tries to learn how to use chute. First he get some lesson form one experienced chute user.

But theory is dead without practice, so the wise mentor tries to get thing working in practice.

This led to success and Leon liked it, even if it may not look like this

Monday we met some older and matured children in the courtyard, they were quite important and busy, but Leon has quickly gained their confidence and could participate on their grave business dealings.

Who plays so much outside gets big hunger.

The title is tells it already, there is only few on IT in this article, so decide, now whether read it or not My wive had to leave Germany and is now in Prague for ten days. So my 14 month old son stays only with me (and his grandmothers). I decided to write small posts about our adventures, because time spending with own children is something special and one tries to hold such moments. Furthermore i do it for my wife to, so she she will exited to see such funny report when she comes back and maybe she will be intrigued by that blog self.

Day one – departure

Polja flow away in the morning, has left me with a bit cheerless Leon.

In addition Polja left me some reminders and instructions in strategic places, which covers the topic “hows survive with the baby”, especially, what is small man’s food, and what does he wear and stuff like that.

So this is also a list but also an simple linear algorithm of execution. Nevertheless in the real life we forgot the point 6, but this hat not held us from having fun.

As we were eating, the whole soup was sloped on Leon, an as was running for the wiping cloth he just sloped the bottle of watter. That was funny.

At the end of day Leon was going to sleep without a word, at is could be written in a book, so i was able to met one friend of me and write this story down. We will try to give you also tomorrow a small review of our adventures (See continuance of story ). At first we have the awakening (6 or 7pm) and that without mother, will see what would be his reaction.

Definition

Socialolism is a strong addiction to Internet applications of social nature. Malignant versions of Socialolism arise just in that times when the affected person has many boring things to do (e.g. Work), even when that things are important.

Common Symptoms

There are some common Symptoms of Socialolism, knowing them will help you to identify the problem.

• Strong desire to open browser and check messages in some Social network during a small pause in Work (e.g. build or deployment process).
• Lingering and strong desire to open own blog or site and look for new comments.
  • Worst: Desire is still there when there are no new comments
  • Worstiest: Desire is still there, even there are newer been some comment on this site before.
• Watching also Youtube videos, that are related to video you actually receives form your colleague.
• Writing new post in your blog during work time.
• Updating your profile in Social-Network-Site instead of doing important homework.
• Checking every digg.com like site on new votes for stories committed by concerned person.
• Opening browser (for very very last time) just before start of durable and boring business.
• Reading Wikipedia more than intentionally intended.
• More than onece a day check of visitor statistic on own sites.

Known places of danger on the Internet

Every addiction has some objects that povoke concerned people. The places where socialolists (people afflicted with socialolism) try to satisfy their addiction are well known. That are blogs (especially own ), Forums, Classmate and Co-Worker networks, Youtube like sites and the whole palette of web2.0 sites like digg.com wich provide social components.

Demarcation of Concepts

Socialolism is not so bad like internetmania which is considered as disease. No, it rather bad consuetude or addiction. It should also not be mistaken for egosurfing, wikipediholism or even photo-lurking. Sure this can have relation, but these sings are real strange. Against them socialism should know nearly every modern Internet user i think. Such statistic bases of cause on my personal notice .

Nevertheless Socialolism must be very close to problems like luck of concentration, idleness and maybe that’s the point!

How to cure

I’m not sure. Don’t connect to Internet? Sure this helps, but it is not pro rata. Just try to do such thing that are more interesting than Social sites? It’s often impossible. Hope to provide you some exercises against socialolism in the future.

Occupational i deal with people who works with already aged version WSAD (Rational Application Developer for Web Sphere). I think they use version 5 which is based on eclipse platform in version 2.0 or 2.1 where folding was not supported.

Folding feature of eclipse based IDE’s allows you to clap uninteresting code fragments like methods constructors or imports out from your scope just in place.

So one of developers was just dropping all of his classes in just one package, doing it in apposite to the structure of whole project. He argued that doing so, hi has only one import statement in his classes for all classes from his “containing all” package. Having 15-20 import statements in a class disturbs!
